Tabish Ahmed Hashmi was born in Karachi and, after immigrating to Canada, combined a corporate job with his true passion which is comedy. Born on June 16, 1987, he had that everyday humor you can’t help but relate to. He began by performing live shows such as The Laughing Stock, and improved with each performance, gradually gaining people over.
It all went off with him with the online talk show To Be Honest on Nashpati Prime. Tabish could make things real and funny, and he chatted in a down-to-earth, desi style that just resonated with the audience. People adored the way he could make jokes and yet maintain conversations interesting. It is that spark that made him so popular, to be honest.
He took that same vibe to TV with Hasna Mana Hai. His casual, talkative manner was quite remarkable--it was not obtruded, but was quite natural.
Tabish finished his studies at Habib Public School, Sir Syed University, and IBA Karachi. In spite of the fame, he has always managed to appear as an ordinary family man, who is married to Hira. Uncomplicated, easy to relate with, and always himself, Tabish constructed his entire career on the principle of being close to ordinary people.
